Scholarships are offered, at various times, in the following categories, see below for Scholarships offered in 2019: 

Academic Scholarships (CLOSED)

Available for female students entering Years 7 and 9 for the duration of their secondary education (subject to satisfactory progress). The Scholarships are awarded on the performance of the students in the Scholarship Examination, and congruence of values with the school.

Academic and All-Rounder Scholarships (CLOSED)

Available for female students entering Years 10 and 11 for the duration of their secondary education (subject to satisfactory progress).  All-Rounder Scholarships are awarded on performance in the Scholarship Examination to students who have also demonstrated qualities of leadership at school, in their local community and/or through participation in a variety of co-curricular activities.

Academic Scholarship Year 9 2019 (CLOSED)

Applications are available to girls in Year 8, 2018 who are currently attending other schools and those attending Kincoppal-Rose Bay School.

Academic Scholarships are awarded on the performance of the student in the examination and congruence of values with the school. Short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Principal.

Scholarships are awarded at the Principal’s discretion and are offered for part tuition fees.

Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the student’s secondary education, Years 9 – 12, subject to review of satisfactory progress.

In addition to the online application, information as outlined below must be submitted: 

  • a copy of the student’s most recent school report
  • a copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • a recent photograph
  • an outline of the student’s interests and achievements, including academic and co-curricular areas eg music, debating, sport.

The Dunphy Foundation Sister Philomene Tiernan rscj Bursary (CLOSED)

The Dunphy Foundation Sister Philomene Tiernan rscj Bursary is available for entry into Years 10 or 11 in 2019. The Bursary covers full boarding and tuition fees, for the duration of time the student is at Kincoppal-Rose Bay School. The Bursary will be awarded to a student from a regional area in NSW or QLD whose family can demonstrate financial need and who would not be able to attend Kincoppal-Rose Bay without this assistance. As well, the student will be required to sit for an assessment examination at the school and be able to demonstrate congruence of values with the School.

Short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Principal.

Bursaries are awarded at the Principal’s discretion.

Bursaries are awarded for the duration of the student’s secondary education, subject to review of satisfactory progress.

Interview with the Principal

An interview with the Principal for shortlisted candidates is an integral part of the process of awarding Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded at the Principal’s discretion.
